A team of eight took on the national 3 peaks challenge raising almost £3000 in the process. Daniel Gill, Richard Pilbeam, Nick Nash, Liam Williams, Paul Jezzard, Mike Molloy, Andrew Butler and Tony Hart completed the challenge in 22 hours and 50 minutes and involved climbing Ben Nevis, Scaffell Pike and Snowdon. The money raised from this challenge went towards the construction of a remembrance garden at The Bluebells holiday home. This provides a peaceful place of reflection to remember loved ones that have sadly passed away.
Sporting Footprints was launched in 2012 with a family fun day and BBQ at The Bluebells holiday home. Activities provided were a petting farm, bouncy castle, cake stall, raffle, hook a duck and DJ aswell as use of the already fabulous gardens at The Bluebells that includes mini golf, trampoline and play area. £1000 was raised and some of the funds were used to go towards a specialist wheelchair that helped to improve one little girls quality of life.
